Sowjanya Thungathurti
August 20, 2018
I sincerely Thank Krishna garu for informing me about the session, for which I was waiting for more than a year. I heard a lot about him and know him since the summer of 2017 when he conducted a session for the TATA Yuva children at NCSU.

My son is 14 years old, and daughter is 7 now. As per Krishna guru’s words, my son is a good kid, what and all we are doing till now is okay, and no need of taking any session. But as parents, we are doing what we feel good to our kids but really not sure whether it is right or not.

I always used to think, what kids have to do to become a good citizen and used to support them by insisting a few points to kids, but after attending the session, I learned how to understand the kids better and how to support them at appropriate times, and give them the best from the parents' side.

I really liked the "Group Parenting" idea and could remember my childhood, how we used to go to grandparents’ houses during the holidays and enjoyed with all the family members. we learned a lot from each of them by staying together and observing their actions and behavior. Kids are missing all that fun because of the modern life. we have to work on that idea to give some bonding, relationship, and trust towards others along with parents.

I also liked the Sun, Moon, and Earth theory, how kids watch our actions and learn. we have to be conscious and cautious while doing everything/anything as our kids are learning from us every single minute. Our actions build the Confidence, Positivity, and Empathy in the kids and lead them to get Success and Happiness throughout their life. Adding a Rhythm to the kid’s schedule is another important point to follow, so kids always are ready and prepared for the things they have to work on.

I am a huge fan of “Touch Therapy” in Krishna Garu's concepts, and I always follow that with my kids, and it really works great. Few kids might not be the fans of hugs and kisses when they become 14, but still, we can hold them, sit with them, talk to them and do something which they like. Our presence with them helps them feel 'my parent is there for me' in every moment whether its good or difficult one.

Once again, I sincerely Thank Krishna garu for such a good amount of time to help the parents realize the basics of the life, so we can nurture the kids in right directions. And I will be waiting for the next session of 'Know Your Child'.
Medha Jananam - Ignite the Intellect
  • Welcome!

    Welcome to Medha Jananam!
Medja Jananam is a Sanskrit phrase,
which can be translated to 'Igniting the Intellect'.

    In our workshops, we explore
the simple as well as the complex aspects of life.
  • Life

    The Journey
    of an imperfect being
    in an imperfect world.
  • Excellence

    अयोग्यः पुरुषो नास्ति प्रयोगः तत्र दुर्लभः

    Everyone excels at some thing.
    It is the opportunities
that are difficult to come by.
  • Part and Whole

    Human is to humanity
what a cell is to the body.
  • Time

    We have to kill time
    till time kills us.
  • Live

    Live AS yourself,
    but not FOR yourself.
  • Life

    When you were born:
the universe is divided into two:
    Inside and Outside.

Life is an interaction between the two.
  • Bliss

Unless you go beyond the founder, you don’t understand religion.
Unless you go beyond religion, you don’t understand god.
Unless you go beyond god, you don’t understand spirituality.
Unless you go beyond spirituality, you don’t understand yourself.
Unless you understand yourself, you don’t find the Truth.
Unless you find the Truth, you don’t feel your fullnesss.
Unless you feel your fullness, you don't feel the bliss,
which is really what you are after.
  • Growth

You need a shell to grow.
You need to break out of the shall to grow.
You need a womb to grow.
You need to come out of the womb to grow.
You need a home to grow.
You need to get out of the home to grow.
You need a religion to grow.
You need to go beyond the religion to grow.
You need a philosophy to grow.
You need to come out of the philosophy to grow.
